The Estonian Central Council in Canada is pleased to announce that it is hosting a Town Hall Election Discussion on issues addressing the global Estonian diaspora communities, with representatives from all major Estonian political parties.

“This is a rare and unique opportunity for the Estonian community in Toronto, Canada and around the world, to engage in a meaningful discussion about the future of Estonia’s relationship with the 200 000 Estonians living abroad” said Estonian Central Council Vice President and Honourary Consul, Laas Leivat.

The event is being held at The Estonian House on February 10, 2019, and will be live streamed around the world by Postimees and the ERR News’ English language portal. The event will begin at 12:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time).

Attendance at the Toronto event is open to all community members, but seating is limited.  Estonian community members and organizations are invited to attend and may submit a question for candidates at info@estoniancouncil.ca, by 4pm February 8, 2019.
