EKN Supports Canada's Democratic Safeguards, Russian Diplomatic Expulsion

The Estonian Central Council of Canada supports the actions taken by The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, regarding the expulsion and barring of Russian diplomatic staff in response to the nerve agent attack in the United Kingdom.  These steps to safeguard our democratic process are a clear indication of Canada’s commitment to freedom, democracy and the rule of law.  We will continue to support any action that prevents foreign influence or interference in Canada by Russia or any other nation.
