Reet Marten Sehr is an educator, curriculum developer, course facilitator and Faculty Advisor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. She has previously worked as a teacher, principal, Education Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Education, and has been involved in numerous international education projects, including in Estonia. 

Reet is Vice President of the Estonian Central Council in Canada, Canadian representative on the Estonian government’s Global Estonian Advisory Committee, board member of Global Estonian NGO and the Estonian World Congress.  Reet was an elected Canadian delegate to the Congress of Estonia.

She is a member and former chair of Korp! Filiae Patriae and a longtime former board member of St. Peter’s Estonian Lutheran Church.  She belongs to both Estonia and Ööbik choirs and has sung in seven Estonian Song Festivals. Reet is a proud mother of four children and eight grandchildren, who are active in the Toronto and Stockholm Estonian communities.
